lazy daisy

It's like my attitude towards the gym - I know going will make me feel better, lighter, healthier...but I just don't feel like it. I'm afraid of leaving the comfort of my bed; I'm afraid to lose time on schoolwork; I'm afraid people are going to judge me as I fail to maneuver around the machines.

Staying feels too comfortable to make myself move.

i think a lot of people are in the peculiar position of wanting to go to the gym, but not wanting to actually do it. what really worked for me was realize two simple things (AA-style): that
1) I was powerless over my gym-going behavior, and that
2) I needed outside intervention in order for me to start going to the gym.

That said, considering #2, you should find gym-partners to keep you accountable! hopefully ya'll will memorize Bible verses on the way =)

idk if sarah is talking specifically about the gym..?
but in any case, at some point, we do have to give it another try. :)
