new year, new person?

2008 was an escalator up. It started off a bit badly, but by the end of December, I was totally on a higher level, in a variety of aspects. And now, I can't wait for 2009.

What am I doing to celebrate the new year?

Writing down 150 things to pray for during this year (and try to cover about 5 a day for the month of January) and making a list of things I'm thankful for in the past year.

As we move forward in time, I think praying is the best way to look back and forward simultaneously while still living in the present. While I was writing, I realized a lot of common threads - unity, humility, healing, growth, patience, and knowledge of God. I guess those are what's needed the most this year. We'll see :)

Happy New Year, kiddos.
