1. You don't know enough to be used effectively.
2. You're incapable of loving others.
3. It's all an act, no substance.
4. You're a waste of (insert person here)'s time.
5. You're not worth it.
6. (Insert person, thing, idea here) is more pressing than spending time with God.
7. You have nothing to offer.
8. You can't be bold, otherwise people will think you're overdramatic or trying too hard or judgmental/condemning or too intense or full of hot air.
9. Your words are senseless and ineffective.
10. You need something or someone other than God and His all-encompassing, unconditional love.
It's a good thing prayer is so powerful, that we can call upon His name to protect us from these attacks. That the Word speaks truth to hold onto, that the Holy Spirit empowers us to take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ (2 Cor 10:5).
