So this weekend was our Passion Revival Conference with guest speaker Pastor Sam Lee.

What to say, what to say.

Well, we went back to the basics (SparkNotes version):

Thursday - Prayer is about the relationship you have with God. Abide in Him through prayer.
Friday - Be "born from above" by being still and knowing He is God. Trust in His promises.
Saturday - God is gracious. We are all in desperate need of grace.

All three were fairly simple messages, but all three were specific enough that it resonated differently for each person.

But the main take-away message for me from this Passion Conference?

I have worth because God loves me, because Jesus allowed me to have worth again.
I need to stop trying to please others or even myself - the only one who is worthy of my efforts to please is Him alone.
The only way I can live passionately - no complacency, no apathy, no laziness, no fear - is through, with, for Him alone.

God is not just good - He is worthy of my trust, my life, my passion.
