stepping stones

I'm not sure why I feel like every time I get to take a step forward, I get pushed two or three steps back.

Why every time I think I've reached somewhat of a conclusion or decision, I always end up having to reconsider things from the start, run through all the options/scenarios/possibilities all over again.

Why when it seems like the answer is within my grasp...it suddenly slips away and leaves me utterly confused.

And other people know exactly where they're going, what they're doing, who they are.

Or at least...it seems like it?

I know the answers are:
1) Trust God
2) Wait on God
3) Follow God
4) Love God

So...I need to figure out how to get that head knowledge into my heart again.

sometimes it's not necessarily all about knowing where you'll end up in terms of a specific position in a field. rather' i think greater emphasis should be given with a cause, and then the cause is what'll really matter regardless of how you fulfill it, you won't get lost in trying to sort out the details because the purpose will always be consistent and always with you.
