So basically, out of my insatiable curiosity (and bad timing,) I got the sudden urge to see if my grades from last semester were up. And to my not-so-great surprise, a few were up. And to my also not-so-great surprise, one of them was particularly sucky.
Now, let me tell you that I didn't expect the same grades I got in high school, but I definitely did not expect this. I just really have to work hard next semester like there's no tomorrow. There is honestly no substitute for busting your butt, especially for non-genius people like me.
I am going to get that 4.0 next semester, even if that means complete sleep deprivation and no social life. (Okay, I doubt that I will really be that hardcore, but I can try to put that mentality into my head, right?)
On the flip side, I guess I can kind of see it as a sign from God, two-fold: 1) DON'T GO INTO THAT AREA and 2) You've gotten complacent, so work hard!
