I don't know if it was my heart or my stomach full of yummy Mexican food (guacamole!) speaking, but in that moment, I thought: Life is so beautifully simple and so simply beautiful.
As we get older, we gain more inhibitions and more fears and more doubts. But honestly, once in a while, we should just let go, lift our hands, reach out, and dance without a care.

i looooooooove kids! one of my favorite parts of going home, is seeing kids again! i was getting my hair cut, and here's the scenario. i'm waiting, and theres this girl, probably around 3,4 years of age, whos getting her hair cut, sitting perfectly still and adorable like, and when the stylist tells her to close her eyes, her older sister, whos like maybe 5 or so, is telling her to close her eyes, like a big sister should do, and the girl whose hair is getting cut keeps her eyes tightly shut for the remainder of the haircut. meanwhile, her aunt is holding her little sister, because her mommy is getting a perm, and the little sister is like, a year or younger, and she gives me eye contact, like all little kids do when they are intrigued, and we do the little tango of blinking hard, and sticking out the tongue, and she giggles! AHHH!!!! SOOOO CUTEEEEEE!!!!!!
and it makes you realize just how awesome life can be. =)
